It shouldn’t come as much surprise to regular readers of this blog that I engage in paid posting from time to time.
I know it would annoy some people, but it’s been a great opportunity for me to make a little bit of money out of my piece of internet real estate. Plus I feel really lucky to have been able to talk about some of the things that I have. Most of the websites that I talk about really are quite good, and something worth promoting.
I do paid posting on this and another blog and it has really helped to take the pressure off when it comes to saving for my trip to Spain.
I won’t tell you all exactly how much I have been making through this - it’s probably against the T&Cs or something - but once I leave, my entire 3 week holiday around Spain before I start my course is going to be completely paid by the blogging I have been doing. That’s if I don’t get banned or something!
Because it’s something I can do on the internet, I can even continue the paid posting while I am in Spain and so have a little side income.
Not only that, Jonk’s Bargains is doing pretty well right now in terms of visitors. Every week I have a new record day of visitors (569 was the new one set last Tuesday). It’s not making much money right now but I think it’s showing genuine potential to be able to do so in the not too distant future. I’m pretty sure that today it’s going to be break another visitor record.
I’m trying to figure out how to monetise it to make more money from it but the future is promising, especially when I have another website launching pretty soon that I think has more income potential than all my other websites combined.

No One Of Consequence
Hi there. Would you mind telling me a bit more about how you make money with your blog? I linked to you from PayPerPost. Is this your only source of revenue generated from the blog or do you participate in other programs? What are the ins and outs? I have a free wordpress blog. Do I need to upgrade in order to participate? Thanks for your help.

Hi
PPP is the principal source of revenue for this blog however I have another blog which takes most of the PPP money.
The ins are the money and you get to visit some really cool websites. The outs are some of the websites are really, really boring. Some are very difficult to write about.
I like it though.
