Most of my readers are familiar with the Google Pagerank system, where they rank sites 1 through 10. Many people use this system to value domains, websites, and also to decide how much money to spend on advertising. It’s important to webmasters, although its relevance is of late being questioned.
This blog has been PR0 now, for quite a while, but it didn’t affect the traffic… which hovers around 1500 visitors a month, or thereabouts.
But I had a lot of other websites just have a huge drop in Page Rank. And the problem is that all of them were linking to Jonks Bargains. Now, Jonk’s Bargains has had a huge fall in traffic from Google - about 70% - because the links to it weren’t considered worth anything anymore. ![]()
