Great quote

“I believe that the fundamental value in relations among people is to respect the dignity and the individuality of fellowmen, to treat them not as objects to be manipulated for, our purposes or in accordance with our values but as persons with their own rights and their own values—as persons to be persuaded, not coerced, not forced, not bulldozed, not brain washed.”

Milton Friedman 1978.

I’m becoming a bit of a Friedman fan-boy. Previously on this blog I have talked about Ron Paul. Ron Paul was a good introduction to these new ideas I have been engaging with, but he doesn’t hold a candle to Friedman.
