Now, to look at the traffic. These websites have a horrible design which means their bounce rate is horrendous at the moment. With the designs coming up the revenue should increase a lot.

Andre Rieu Tickets is doing well. It’s getting 30, 40 searches a day from Google which is quite handy. Disappointingly its revenue hasn’t been up to scratch but this will be helped by a new design coming along.

Country Road Bags is a bit of an SEO enigma. It’s going all over the place in the rankings right now. It will come back. Currently eBay is ranking #1 for this term which means that it should be a very easy SEO proposition. Basically, if Yahoo Answers, eBay or Wikipedia rank in the top #10 for a keyword you can know that you have a very good chance at straddling the summit.

That’s two examples for today. The rest will come.

1.Cheap Baby Clothing has been listed nearly instantly in Google and is receiving traffic already although not much.

2.Cheap Baby Furniture was once again listed nearly instantly in Google and has received nearly 100 visitors in nearly 2 days which is some kind of miracle. Although no $ for this one yet.

3.Country Road Bags isn’t listed in Google.

4.Andre Rieu Tickets isn’t listed in Google but clocked 40 visits in the first day from God knows where.

5.Chris Rock Tickets isn’t listed in Google and hasn’t received any visitors either.

5.Steel Cap Boots was put up 5 minutes ago.

If you can’t already tell by recent posts, I have taken what is very much a scattergun approach to my recent web activity. And I don’t intend on this continuing.

I have found a good niche which I intend to explore with my domain jonk.com.au.

A hint: it will contain pages like these .. Tickets For Andre Rieu.

In the meantime hopefully people will buy Tickets For Chris Rock through my link because seriously, he is the funniest guy pretty much ever. Convinced? I doubt it. But in terms of Andre Rieu the potential for earnings are high because the tickets on eBay are VERY expensive.

LA Police Gear.com is now a retailer of Luminox watches, a brand which uses self-powered lumination to make it much easier to see the time in low light areas or at night. A very handy feature…!

The good thing is that both watches above are both Luminox. They have built a wide variety into their range of many different types so depending on your style, or your use for the watch, you’ll be able to find something to suit you no problems at all.

I’m currently experimenting with an eBay affiliate program. I have seen these sites around the place and been ridiculously annoyed when I visited them. They’re like a tarted up version of Made For Adsense websites.

However, once I had the option to start mucking around with it… Of course it was ok. It was more than ok!

So, today I built a page for Country Road Bags. Why? Well, the idea here is to drive down to niches with 3+ leyword search terms. Terms which noone would build a website around if it took more than 30 minutes. Luckily it takes me 25 minutes.

So if you want to check out the Country Road Bags page go ahead, check it out. Is still extraordinarily basic and will remain so for a little time. But I hope those country road bags lovers will get a kick out of being able to pick up a few cheap bags in the process. Or maybe even some cheap Second Hand Country Road Bags.

Now to the new experiment for Jonk’s, a cheap baby clothing site. Well, not quite. It’s an eBay affiliate store which drags up all the listings for cheap baby clothes. Innovative? No, not really? Going to be a money spinner? Highly doubt it? Worth trying? Yes. Yes. And Yes Once More. If this page makes more than $20 over its entire lifetime the word you’ll need to describe my reaction will be stunned. Second Hand Baby Clothing FTW? We’ll find out soon.

Until the design is put up, it will look horrible. And once the design is put up, it will then look extremely horrible.

It’s a site where you can get paid to talk about things. Generally about companies and their websites. Sound familiar? Yes, it’s by the same company as Pay Per Post as a matter of fact but it has a different business model about it. Firstly, the links all MUST be No Follow. So noone will get smashed by Google (as this one got smashed) for putting up paid links like naughty boys.

Not only that, but each post has disclosure of the sponsor. Look at the bottom of this one if you want an example of it.

And also, you get real opinions. Although I’m not sure of what that means. I think SocialSpark has been an exciting start but is still a ways off where it could be. Firstly, the site looks nice but the functionality is not quite up to the standard of PayPerPost.com. Yet. Also, not many advertisers have jumped on board. Yet. So I don’t log in all that much I’m afraid.

However, the opportunities that ARE there are generally much more interesting and fun in appearance than PPP. And not only that, the required disclosure means you don’t have to feel guilty about posting as happens occasionally with PPP when you aren’t allowed to disclose on a specific post.

It’s still very, very much a work in progress but according to SocialSpark, it is well ahead of PPP at its equivalent stage of development which is great to hear. I will start logging in a bit more in the future.

Although.. I have a dilemma. I have a few different blogs registered, and also my friends do as well, and all of us have had Page Rank stripped for carrying the PPP Real Rank widget. I hope that doesn’t happen with the Social Spark widget!

One my my friends, Chris Tavistock, has launched a new website and I promised him that I would help him out with a link or two.

That’s the sort of thing I do for friends!

The name of the blog is the Tavistock Institute and it’s here. It’s very simple and basic but that’s ok. They’re little nuggets of gold and I think if you read it you might enjoy it. So far he has 15 posts and they’re good. In my opinion.

I had two goals at the start of this year.

The first was to speak Spanish. This is going well. Just the other day, an Argentinean girl noticed I was reading a book in Spanish and we had a conversation. That was great. Oh, and I’m reading a book.. completely in Spanish. I started nearly 2 weeks ago and I have nearly finished it, and it has advanced my comprehension beyond belief.

Second was to not to have to work for an employer again after NYE this year. I kind of shot myself in the foot on this goal with the whole “going to Spain for four months” thing but once again, I feel like I will be able to achieve this goal. I would say that it’s still going to be hard, but I think having a goal really focuses your actions. I have been reinvesting a lot of my online income and now have 5 websites earning over $100 a month. If my websites do not earn $2700 for the month of July I will consider this a failure or something has gone wrong. And lots of things go wrong, unfortunately. However I could easily live off $USD2700 per month so I have basically achieved that goal already. Wootitoots, eh?

The power of goals is just incredible. Just by naming and stating a goal, and deciding to do it, it completely reframes your mindset and you begin to look for opportunities which didn’t exist previously. Not only that, you build a rolling snowball by reinvesting the little returns coming in until you’ve got an avalanche.

Even though they’re completely unnecessary nowadays for anyone who owns a cell phone, there’s still nothing quite as good looking on a wrist as a watch, in my opinion.

And the good brands are still going strong, such as Seiko.

A Seiko watch looks great on the wrist, works well and importantly is available without the extreme gazillion dollar pricetag that you see from other manufacturers.

BlueDial.com is a great website for Seiko watches. They offer very strong discounts off the Recommended Retail Price and a decent range as well. It’s been many years now since one could really be nervous about ordering products from the internet, especially from established and reputable sites such as BlueDial.

Let me tell you, this sort of thinking is absolute crap. Since I got into internet marketing I have witnessed first hand the explosion of several niches and continued growth. Each time I saw a website explode in a certain niche I would think “oh well, that’s it, that’s the end for me, I could never do that, it’s been done” then someone could come along next month, explode a website and I would then think exactly the same thing!

Let me tell you, the internet is still at its GENESIS in terms of its potential in terms of usability and profitability. NOW is the time to start your education and start subscribing to blogs, doing some research and getting your head around the field of internet marketing as much as possible.
