Christian Cliches

It’s not religion, it’s a relationship.

Just because you go to church, it doesn’t make you a Christian.

It takes a lot more faith to believe in Evolution than it does to believe in God.

You may think you’re happy, but you can only know true happiness through Jesus Christ

Worldly. (Worldly music, worldly movies..)

I was going through times of trial.

God gave me a burden for *insert word here*

Ask Jesus into your heart

I felt lead to…

Just lift your hand to respond to God, noone will be able to see. *2 minutes later* Now, come out the front (you gullible idiot)!! (I hate this one.)

I was convicted…

There is nothing you can do that would make Jesus stop loving you

Let go, and let God

.

I’m getting a little tired of certain aspects of Christianity.

Amen.

Although I’d point out that just because cliches are annoying doesn’t mean they’re not necessarily true.

“necessarily true”… darn my english

True or not, I think we’ve made them meaningless

Here’s another cliche, not directly Christian as such, but fitting for my reply:

You’ve hit the nail on the head. :)
