Summer is coming up! Well that’s if you live in the Northern Hemisphere of course. Apologies to all Southern Hemisphere readers. :)

One of the great things about summer is the almost continuous cycle of great events being put on all over the place, taking advantage of the good weather to have some fun outside.

Radio Disney is jumping on the bandwagon with a series of concerts at Moreys Piers, New Jersey. I must admit that I had to Google to find out what Morey’s Piers. What I found out was it’s a theme park tourist attraction geared towards children. The kind of place that would be great for a day long family outing.

There wouldn’t be many betterThings to do in New Jersey then check out these events!

The park is located in Wildwood. It’s a well developed complex, offering Wildwood events and Wildwood nj motels for you to stay at.

Radio Disney is hosting a series of free concerts there on the July 7, 14 and 21 (all Mondays.) Some of their biggest upcoming stars will be turning up, including Savvy and Mandy, Raven-Symone (sorry but I can’t stand that name) and Drew Seeley for some great paid shows as well. Tickets available at Ticketmaster.com.

I honestly won’t be in New Jersey this summer, but if you are or are looking for something to do, maybe Moreys Piers could be your ticket!

The pic above is irrelevant but I found it amusing. It would have been quite frightening for those people sitting there!

Anyway, I’m up for a little challenge so here goes, translating this article from El Pais.es about the Madrid 2016 bid for the Olympics. It’s quite a tough one… I’m going to be very literal translating the words and terminology so you can see the way they talk. I only did a bit of the article because it takes ages.
