Given the climate of economic uncertainty that is currently hovering over the world, and the rise and fall of interest rates that has been pretty chaotic to say the least, it’s no wonder that Debt Consolidation is one of the buzzwords of the day.

Debt Consolidation is a great way to not only reduce monthly debt repayments but also to pay a debt down even faster. Why? Because it helps roll things like credit card, car and personal debt all into a loan which has a much lower overall interest rate.

Debt sucks and that’s why DebtConsolidation.com is here to help. They have a free telephone number available with consultants on the line to talk about how to consolidate your debt. They can provide a free quote so you can see just how much you’ll save.

You can also use their website to access a free telephone consultation with a qualified bankruptcy adviser.

Dodgy Knees!

Gah! I hate having dodgy knees!

I played indoor soccer the other night and now my right knee is not hurting REALLY bad but it’s feeling very niggly.

The joint feels a little… loose. It feels like my knee-cap could dislocate at any moment for the first time in years, and that pain is pretty extreme.

Otherwise, I’d just love to have a more functioning body.

Luckily I know the solution, and that is sustained exercises for the knee over a few months. This helps to build muscles around the joints and lock them in place.

Backgammon

I don’t know very much about backgammon but I do know that it’s a very popular game around the world, but especially in the Middle East.

My brother recently went to Egypt and said that he saw quite a few people playing backgammon. I used to think backgammon was entirely based on luck so its popularity made little sense to me but I have since come to realise that there is talent involved as well.

Gammonish.com is a great resource on the internet for those wishing to learn more about backgammon rules and how to play it.

But here’s something really cool : the owner of Backgammonmasters.com has lodged an official application with the Guiness Book of World Records to apply for the record for the biggest backgammon dice toss.

Their idea is to toss 2 backgammon dice out of a chopper flying several hundred feet in the air onto a gigantic - 1 acre - backgammon board. In this game, two world backgammno champions will play a full game from the helicopter and use walkie-talkies to communicate their moves to attendants on the ground.

Hopefully this will bring some publicity to their website as it is a very unique idea. Guiness World Records are a great way to bring some attention to a site and this is a very creative idea that will probably serve their purpose well.

For mine, I’ll get around to learning it some day. It seems like fun.
