Dial7.com offer a dependable limousine service LaGuardia - to and from the airport.

Not only this, they offer limousine service to and from all major New York airports, and anywhere in the vicinity. They have a selection of over 450 vehicles which is not only simply amazing, it means you can always rely on them to deliver at a moments notice.

This is so much better and more classy than the infamous taxi service in New York, which has a reputation for being dirty, smelly, brash…. All the things that you really don’t feel like after a long flight! Am I right?

How good would it feel to step off the plane and see a driver standing there holding YOUR name for a change. And instead of fighting for a cab, trying to get the driver to understand the directions, just have the driver take care of it all.

That’s the promise that limousine companies offer and I’m sure that Dial 7 delivers.

I visited a different church on the weekend, called Urban Praise Church. I had a friend in the band, although when I got there I counted four faces in the band that I knew. I’d heard about these guys - they do their worship in the Gospel kind of style.

After a couple of songs I was really asking myself.. what have I come to? Sure they were singing Christian songs, but this wasn’t a church service. It was a performance. Most of the singers struck me as being there just to listen to themselves sing.

At first I was a bit annoyed. But if I had a pre-conception of this as a concert, I wouldn’t have been. Why should I judge people who dig a certain Christian music style? If I had any talent I know I would have wanted to join myself!

There was a powerful testimony from a guy who wrote a song on Guy Sebastian’s first album. He’s a former CDB member, the dudes who had the big hit in 1995 or 96. (Only Australians will get that one.)

Then it was back to music. As things went by I allowed myself to enjoy it much more, grooving in my white-man way.

A good night overall, but Urban Praise Church? When does a meeting stop being church and start being concert? (I don’t have a beef with them either way.)
