It’s baaaack

Well, it’s been back for a week now but I can be forgiven.

The St Kilda Saints are qutie bizarrely tipped by many to have a very big season this year. I’m not sure why.

As a St. Kilda fan I have learnt not to get excited until the coach and captain lift the Cup. Getting your hopes up is too painful!

The AFL has an almost irrepressible momentum as it surges to become the clear #1 in the hierarchy of Australian sport. To achieve this, they need to win much more support in QLD and NSW than they currently have.

The A-League is my favourite and will perform a job as a wealthy cousin to the AFL. Operating in summer, and very popular amongst millions of Australians, the new league has achieved success far beyond the expectations of even the most optimist punter when it launched.

There’s a reasonable chance that in the 4th season, the A-League will overtake the NRL in terms of average attendances. That’s a significant statistic.

The A League is currently the 3rd or 4th league in Australia depending on how you look at this, but will establish itself as #2 with the next tv rights deal coming up in 2012. It’s the only truly national league, firstly. Secondly, it operates during summer which means a television station will have little to no competition over these months.

The extra money will mean that more and more, Australians will choose to stay home to play the game and not only this, we’ll be able to attract professionals in their prime from reasonably good leagues.

Anyway, enough about football.

Cmon Sainters.

IVF 1 is a Chicago infertility clinic lead by a man named Dr. Randy Morris.

Not only this, IVF 1 maintains an informative website with updates about developments in the field of obstetrics and IVF.

IVF is a sensitive topic for many people because it tinkers with the foundation stones of life. For mine, I think it’s a wonderful opportunity to enable people to have children who currently have no chance.

While Australia has demonstrated that some people need to be given cash to have a baby, those who don’t have the ability to bear a child are often willing to fork out tens of thousands of dollars for the chance to become a parent.

I can see why - one of my utmost desires is to be a good parent to the children I end up having. It’s an incredible responsibility and one I intend to take seriously.

IVF treatment is now commonplace throughout the Western world. Let’s hope that the technology can become cheaper and more effective so as to allow even more people to take advantage of it.
