I love you

Actually, I highly doubt there’s a million ways. But it’s always special when those words are uttered for the first time.

Romance For Everyone is a website that’s all about love. Love letters, romantic ideas, and dating tips.

My last girlfriend told me I was unromantic. Maybe I should have been reading this website! I think a guy shouldn’t be over the top romantic. Girls consider that weak. But occasionally, he should spring a nice surprise on the woman to make her feel special, like the apple of his eye!

In terms of design, I think the website needs a white background because of people like me who don’t have great eyes. The owner is obviously in love with being in love and that’s cool, you know. Kudos to him.

I spent a bit of time today talking to a Real Estate agent about websites.

After I had spent a considerable amount of time helping him with all his questions about how to make a website. Here’s the transcript.. be warned, this guy uses woeful English when talking on the net.

how much do you charge to sell a house

7k - 20 fo our area

how much do you charge real estate developers?

developers?

lets say someone bulldozes a house

ok

and puts 3 houses on that block and then sells them.. do you give them a discount

yep fo sho

like what?

well instead of doing a percentrage wed do a flat fee fo each unit. so the developer knows how much hes paying

how much do u do

say $7500 inc $1000 advertising for each unit

what does the $6500 actually buy someone ?

what do u mean buy who developer or buyer

i mean, the $6500 you charge for selling the unit, what does the agent actually do to earn it..
besides having a 30 min open house

lol that 30 min is nothin dude u kno how much time is involved in dealing buyers.. there the worst ppl to deal with not only that training that is involed in negotiating with the buyer

u want 300 for those units a buyer is not going to come to u and say ye no worries il offer u 300 they will come in at 250

why are they bad to deal with? too many stupid questions?

and guarentted u will spen the next week with them and only them alone tryin to get them up to 300 and then theres the side where u have to tak all the shit from the greedy vendor who thinks his property is worth 1 million dollars when its really worth 300 so theres alot of time and effort in dealing with buyers and educating with vendors and not too mention writing up the contract note dealing with solicitors collecting depostis and other small shit. i would say u get paid more than ur typical 9-5 job is probably there 100% more responsibilty on you and YOU alone cuz ur selling someones houes and if u dont get it right its on u

thanks

Getting blinds

Vertical Blinds are a topic that’s been on my mind a bit lately. So it’s a good thing that SelectBlinds.com has lobbed across my desk.

Why has it been on my mind? Because our set of vertical blinds came down a few weeks ago. They’re in a terrible mess and will probably have to be replaced… When I get around to it.

These dudes aren’t a one man band, they’re a massive operation that has been featured on countless tv shows. For what it’s worth, these 2″ wood blinds are my favourite. I could see them hanging up in my house.

They have a beautifully designed website. It’s so good to see these kinds of websites because unfortunately they are few and far between.
