This book

OK I have been told that I should say in my own words why I want to read this book.

Readers of this blog will probably have noticed my continuing fascination with Iraq. They’ll also notice that I have been coming down on the side of the Americans.

The War in Iraq has unearthed hundreds of ordinary men as heroes who will fight to save the lives of their mates and the lives of Iraqis. I just love reading inside accounts of the battle scenes. It’s so much better hearing things from the horse’s mouth rather than just hearing recycled pap from the Australian media (who basically just take American reports, summarise them, add a bit of spin to make it semi-relevant to Australians, and publish.)

Mexican Heavy Haul

After many requests on this blog I have finally relented and I will now write about everyone’s favourite topic, Mexico heavy haul companies.

Logistics Group International specialise in shipping stuff between the US, Canada and Mexico. They have a nice website which explains in detail what they do.

The first thing that impressed me was their use of bilingual employees.

They have numerous high-profile clients such as General Electric and Continental Airlines. They also ship tanks:

Mega cool. I’d love to own a company that ships tanks…

To take the hassles away they wrap all customs brokerage fees into their invoice which leaves one simple payment for the customer. They transport basically anything.
