ELT language training offer Spanish language training, as well as Chinese, French, German and Italian.

I’m more than happy to talk about Spanish language training as any reader of this blog would know of my plans to hit up Spain for some language lovin in the second half of next year.

ELT has a baffling website has it appears to be one of those cheap-content-with-stockphotos-to-clear-some-affiliate-income websites. They even have sound effects when you scroll over the menu. But, according to the site they actually offer small group and one-to-one training. The problem is they don’t say where this training is offered. The Unites States? England?

They also claim to be the industry leader and it’s obvious that they’re not. Stick to what you’re good at! Often it’s good to focus on one language and become a boutique provider. People love a specialist.

For those looking to undertake a Spanish course, they go through a needs assessment program to determine their level of skill. All of the trainers have at least 4 years experience.

Here’s some info I would like to see on their website

1. Pictures of actual classes.
2. Pictures and bios of actual trainers.
3. More info about the company, inc. location.
4. Course prices.
5. Samples of course material.

The website is currently too general to be able to sufficiently attract customers. Hopefully this review will help them fine-tune their website to be able to do that.

Lemon Lawyers

I just been referred to a cool concept: Lemon Lawyers. No, it’s not lawyers that leave you with a bitter taste in the mouth, it’s lawyers that help you when you have bought a lemon - as in, a lemon car.

They’re based in Ohio, which in 1987 passed laws to help car owners put pressure on companies that have sold them dodgy vehicles.

What’s funny is looking at the website I can’t get the taste of lemons out of my head!

The design of the website is ok in looks, but it fulfils its function quite effectively, and that’s to give you a bunch of information that you might need if you buy a lemon car - not just in Ohio but across the United States.

They’re IN!!

My team Boston are THROUGH to the World Series. This is very exciting stuff. I look forward to catching a game or two (work makes it hard) on Foxsports.

Boston Red Sox are a team with incredible character and grit. They have pulled off a pretty big comeback to make it, and will now face the Colorado Rockies for the ultimate title.

They also have the home ground advantage. The first two games are in Boston, the next 3 in Colorado, then assuming that noone has won it yet, the next two are back at Fenway.

I’m going to go to Fenway someday, I can guarantee you that!
