I’ve been doing a lot of web-work lately. Here’s the update:

 1. Jonk’s Bargains.com is coming along slowly. I love the site but the building process is so freakin boring. I build a page maybe every 2 days. Up by Oct 31, fingers crossed. Early next year I’m planning to move it to a Web2.0 format. I’m not quite sure using which method but there’s an extremely lucrative and quite related niche that the two dominant websites in Australia for this area are making a truckload of $ off… with disgusting designs, rip-off prices and an even worse product.

2. Jonk’s Truth.com is what has been distracting me from Jonk’s Bargains. It’s the blog about women and I have been writing posts and doing other preparation. I have done 12 posts so far and it’s going to be compelling content… Am getting great reactions from the people I am testing it on. I will be doing a VLOG for this as well. Up by Oct 31, fingers crossed.

3. Search316.org. I only had this idea about 10 days ago but this may be one of the biggest things I ever do in my life. It’s going to be a search website where 100% of the revenue goes to Christian missions. I’m really going to promote the heck out of it. Christians world-wide should adopt this as their search page. Should be up by the 20th, this simple project is giving me more curve balls than it should.

4. Jonk’s Play.com Will be a ‘look at me I’m bored at work’ kind of website. Lots of videos and images from other websites collated onto niche-specific blogs. This is going to be very easy to run and promote…. Up by Oct 31. Will take one full day every month.

Beautiful Churches

Everyone loves a beautiful church, and Ratigan Schottler deliver this with beautiful church pews.

I’d love to show you pictures of them but it’s impossible as their website is in FLASH! (Massive design error!) As such I’m not quite sure how this review will help them rank in Google but we can try.

Go visit their website to view the pictures of the churches, they really do look quite stunning.

I believe churches do not necessarily need to look or feel beautiful - as I’m sure God probably doesn’t care either way - but if you have the cash, it’s a good way to show respect to the Creator.

They also provide courtroom furniture. If I owned a courtroom or church I’d definitely be buying…

You almost feel sorry for this company for the fact that their two major client bases can very much be stingy tight-arses. I guess they compensate for this by virtue of their wonderful wood-work.

After I deliberately throttled my blog’s traffic during May and June there’s been some recovery, but not much. That’s no worries, but some of my old posts from March and April are getting some traffic. I get about 100 actual visits a day (Webalizer says 350 but most of that is robots), most of them to old posts through old back-links and Google.

My number one post is How To Button Your Suit - it literally gets 5 times as much traffic as any post every single month. Google loves it.

Because of this I’m adding Adsense to the site. I know it won’t be anything more than loose change but who cares, any money is good money.
