If you choose to gamble online, please only do so with small amounts of money. Only that which you can afford to have fun with it. Never use your savings.

If you own an Apple Mac and want to play poker online, you may have noticed how difficult it can be to play. This is because all poker websites that I have seen make you download software to play, and we all know how much of a bugger it is to find Mac compatible software.

This is where Mac Poker Online comes into it. They have put together a very green website (what is it about poker related websites and green? Although it does effectively remind you of the green velvet on card tables. Mm.. Velvet.) pointing to all the different poker sites where Mac users can play.

It’s quite a cool site because it also tells you all the rules for Poker and its different variations, plus poker strategy tips.

They have a rating out of 10 for each website listed which is nice and handy.

Be careful before jumping in to any decisions as this website is making money off any sign-ups they receive. Online poker can be fun, and as has been said countless number of times, it’s the only gambling game of skill.

The Big Apple. I have no idea why they call it that, but it seems appropriate. Actually, it doesn’t. I have no idea how a piece of fruit makes a nice metaphor for a big, dirty, loud, brash city. Apples don’t strike me as anything like that at all. (A bit of research tells me that black slaves saw it as a place of big opportunity and nicknamed it such.)

The city doesn’t sleep either which should create a healthy market for sleeping pills.

If you’re going to New York - and you don’t need a reason, just go - why not consider using the Dial 7 NJ airport car service.

They charge $33 to get to LaGuardia which is pretty good, and strikes me as a much better option than a taxi which costs basically the same and would be much more dirty, unreliable and erratic on the part of the driver.

How many people have been watching the Rugby World Cup?

So far it’s been much better than the one in Australia. There’s been more upset results and matches have generally been closer.

I think this may be because the Australian weather really separated the full-time professionals from the part-timers and amateurs. Our RWC was a crappy one.

This one is being held in France - although Wales and Scotland got to play their games at home, lucky them.

Australia has been average so far. They smashed Japan and easily dealt with Wales, Fiji and Canada.

Big results so far have been Fiji over Wales (massive result!), Georgia over Namibia for their first ever win and Tonga’s narrow 30-25 loss to South Africa.

Barring all this the story of the whole cup must be the Pumas of Argentina. They have beaten France and Ireland (two fully professional teams) to top their group undefeated. They are now favourites to beat Scotland to advance to the semi finals.

Put simply, there’s 5 elite teams in every RWC (NZ, RSA, AUS, England and France) and two of them must face off in the quarters.

Due to results, 4 of them are facing off in the quarters.

Aus plays England and NZ plays France. Meanwhile, the Boks have an easy run and are 100% shoo-ins to make the final - only Fiji and Argentina stand in their way. Neither team will challenge South Africa too dramatically, although the Springboks result against Tonga shows their vulnerability. The Pumas have been defending extremely well and if they play their absolute best MAY be a shot at their first ever Rugby World Cup Final. Wouldn’t that be amazing!
