Calorie counter website!! I’ve only recently started reading the blog postings of The Molk but he has been undertaking a very interesting walk of losing weight. If you’re a large person losing weight is.. well.. hard. It’s not the physical process of losing weight no doubt - it’s the changing of habits and attitudes.

That’s why it helps to keep a diet journal. My Fitness Pal is the website I’m linking to here and having a look around it… seems very cool. They have extraordinary detail on the nutritional value of foods which must have taken thousands of man hours to type in. For example: I went and found the listings for Pumpkin. There’s that many variations that it would take a long while to list them. They have even put all the different Starbucks products that contain Pumpkin there…. although Aussie Starbucks is wise enough not to have pumpkin products.

(Isn’t it funny how Americans have pumpkin in sweet things and we have pumpkin as a savoury!)

Use their calorie chart to find out more.

Perhaps I am a little guilty paying specific reference to The Molk. I have actually noticed myself putting a couple of kigs arond the stomach.. not much but then again, nearly everyone always acts too late!

I am already keeping track of my diet despite being considered skinny by my friends. I don’t see myself as fat and definitely don’t have weight issues, but I don’t WANT to have weight issues or heart issues for that matter. Eat healthily, people.

Blogger Wave

There’s a ton of paid to blog websites out there but the best-looking one has got to Bloggerwave.
Logging into their mainpage it seems that the opportunities are limited. But here’s a couple of things I’m liking about it. One - the opportunities are all $10. This is a good pay out rate. Two - Coca Cola has signed up with them. And if Coca Cola has signed up with them, that must mean good things. Coca Cola doesn’t use two-bit operations, I would assume!

Anyway, at this point there isn’t too much to add besides that my application was processed really quickly. Hopefully they keep on growing their opportunities.

I’m looking forward to working with them in the future.

Blog back up

Thanks for all those who emailed me to tell me my blog was down.

It was my host’s fault.

Host Excellence have a good help desk but other than that their hosting is really poor.

One time when I was just about to have my site featured all over the national news of the three major networks in Australia - that’s about 5 million viewers nationally - they pulled it for maintenance. With two hours notice.

Let’s just say I wrote a series of very terse emails to them.
