Paid off handsomely last night.
Ok, you might be shocked to read this, but I’m not perfect. Take a moment to recover if you must.
I’m not a big speeder but if the opportunity presents I’ll feather the accelerator a little.
On most of the roads you drive on, you have probably driven on them all before and know speed camera locations like the back of your hand. The problem is, as we all know, policemen setting up randomly waiting for us like thieves in the night.
My strategy to avoid this is to go the speed limit and wait until a car passes me. Then I jump in the same lane as this car, sit 50,90m off and go the same speed as them.
I did this in a 60km/h zone last night while both he and I were doing 90. We saw the police car at the same time. He got the fine.
Interestingly enough as soon as the cop car had him pulled over everyone started speeding. Quite amusing.
