This blog is growing.

On Friday more people accessed my feed than ever before. It was also 4th best day so far for visits to the blog.

Soon I will start including tips on men’s style. Walking around the city of Melbourne the other day.. well.. it sounds bad but a lot of guys haven’t heard some things they should know!

Dressing well is crucial to the impression you make on colleagues, employers and clients.

If you look successful, people will assume that you are successful, and then grant you more success.

I get all my tailored shirts laundered professionally. I do this so my shirts are always in top condition.

I am also incredibly uncoordinated which means my shirts often have small stains which need removing.

Place yourself in the shoes of the dry-cleaner/laundry service owner for a quick second. Imagine a customer has given you a shirt which has a stain you weren’t able to remove.

Do you:

a) Show the shirt to the customer, explain why you weren’t able to remove it in just one wash.

OR

b) Hide the shirt at the back of the pack and hope the customer won’t notice.

Well my laundry guy - in his eternal wisdom - has chosen option B. TWICE. I’m trying to find another person as we speak.

Enjoy your weekend people. I’ll be working on my business most of today.

How you dress makes a huge difference to how other people perceive you. Wearing a custom tailored shirt will make you look like a true professional. www.newtonclothiers.com
