On Sunday I did a photo shoot.

As in, the modelling kind. I modelled my own shirts… I can’t yet afford models - and all the clothes I would have to get made just for them. It would cost me a pretty penny.

My photographer’s name is Josh Stutchbery. The kid has it. He’s 19 (I think), has never been trained, but has some serious skill as a photographer. At church, he does things with the video camera that look fantastic - but with the same equipment everyone else produces shots that are average.

Any photos of me around this blog or my site that look incredibly professional were probably done by him.

His rates are currently very cheap as he’s trying to build experience. Check it out. He knows what he’s doing.

Newton Clothiers is my site.

“The common denominator of success - the secret of success of every person who has ever been successful - lies in the fact that ‘They formed the habit of doing things that failures don’t like to do.’ ” Albert Grey

Read it.

That statement is still echoing around my mind and I would have read it at least 5 weeks ago. It’s so true.

So I’m gearing up to hire my first employee for my site Newton Clothiers . (Actually it could be two - I might be hiring someone in Melbourne to do visits for me when I can’t.)

Here’s the rub though : this employee will be in Bangkok. Yep, I’m trying to figure out to hire someone who I won’t meet for a little while. This person will have to print off an order, go to the tailor, make sure he understands the order and that everything is a-ok. Then one week later, they’ll print off another document and pick up the shirts ordered the week before and mail them to me. Sound easy? Well, to me, most definitely. The job does. Now to find someone I can trust…

Help, anyone?
